Tom “Big Tom” Moriarty, Republican Representative to the U.S. House of Representatives from California’s 54th district, says former President Donald Trump, not Barack Obama, caught Osama bin Laden.

“And he caught him with his own bare hands,” Moriarty said at a rally. “It was Trump!”

Moriarty cited fellow Republican Lisa McClain, who represents Michigan, as his source for this information, which puzzled many in the audience.

“Um, I thought it was Barack Hussein Obama!” one supporter yelled out.

Moriarty disagreed, and said it was Trump.

“And here is how he did it,” Moriarty said, simulating Trump scooping up bin Laden like he was a catfish.
